BATSU!, the hit underground show that was created in New York and Chicago, makes it’s London debut at Underbelly Boulevard, Soho. In this wacky show we see comedians competing to avoid electric shocks, paintballs, a giant chicken, and many more hilarious, jaw-dropping punishments.
One of the competitions was where the four improv comedians must create narratives around words given to them by audience members. The host will then pound the drum if they fail at which point the losers are subjected to their humiliating often embarrassing punishment.
We are shown the scars from the paintball and rubberband punishments on the comedians stomachs and the marks are real. At one point one of the guys is subjected to whipping by a dominatrix and a willing member of the audience.
