Teaspoon Projects Presents Inaugural Exhibition: A Thousand-Pointed Star at 67 York Street Gallery
Exhibition Dates: 12 – 18 February 2025 | Private View: 11 February 2025
67A York Street, London W1H 1QB

Teaspoon Projects is launching its inaugural exhibition, A Thousand-Pointed Star, at 67 York Street Gallery, exploring the fragmented and multifaceted nature of modern identity. Inspired by Clarice Lispector’s The Hour of the Star, the exhibition showcases works by 12 contemporary artists across painting, sculpture, video, and mixed media. Through diverse narratives, the exhibition reflects the self as a dynamic tapestry of experiences, relationships, and cultural influences.

Exhibiting Artists:
AlOn, Jacob Clayton, Nina Gonzalez-Park, Maya Gurung-Russell Campbell, Ya Hsuan Hsiao, Jennifer Jones, Eva Merendes, Mariette Moor, Joe Moss, Aliya Orr, Ellie Wyatt, Shinhye You.

The exhibition features a range of mediums that interrogate themes of cultural identity, personal memory, and the intersection of the digital and physical. Notable works include Joe Moss’s video Jump (2024) and mosaic Clipping Figures (2025), which challenge traditional boundaries of narrative and identity, and Maya Gurung-Russell Campbell’s exploration of dual heritage through masked figures.

A Thousand-Pointed Star also offers an engaging public programme, including a poetry night, a textile and writing workshop, a performance on family constellations, and more.

Programme Highlights: In addition to the exhibition itself, A Thousand-Pointed Star will feature an engaging programme of events, including:

  • Private View (11 February): A food interaction by Nina Gonzalez-Park, blending blue corn and sake to create a sensory experience.
