Join Robin Ince this December as he presents a heady mix of science, comedy, poetry, music and much much more.
Following four sell-out nights in 2017, Robin Ince’s hugely popular Christmas shows return this year from 14th to 20th December 2018 with a slightly tweaked title, a new venue (Kings Place, 90 York Way, London) and the ‘usual shambles’.
The Multiple award-winning
The shows are about celebrating the best that humanity has to offer and our curiosity about the universe around us, through science, art, history, philosophy, music, literature. We’re also at a time in human history where positive curiosity has never been in more demand.
A NIGHT LESS ABOUT PREACHING THE ATHEIST GOSPEL THAN CELEBRATING THE SCIENCE OF EVIDENCE, DEDUCTION, LEARNING AND QUESTIONING OVER UNTHINKING FAITH IN ANYTHING SUPERNATURAL…A HEARTY AMEN TO ITS RAISON D’ETRE.”
Chortle
This show is for curious people, who want to keep on discovering and learning about our wondrous universe and who want to have a laugh while doing it.
“A CHRISTMAS FEAST…LONG MAY IT CONTINUE TO BRIGHTEN OUR BLEAK MIDWINTER WITH THE LIGHT OF REASON AND SILLINESS.”
Guardian
With a different mix of special guests every night there is a special treat for everyone curious about the topics.

Evening Standard
As always profits from the shows will go to chosen charities, which this year are Mind and Two Wheels for Life.
Currently, thirteen million people live below the poverty line in the UK, so as in 2017, they will be collecting for The Trussell Trust foodbanks at Nine Lessons. There will be a list of the most desperately needed food and household items on the Cosmic Shambles website closer to the event date.
