On the 25th August, Red Eight Gallery, the first contemporary art gallery in the Square Mile, London, opened their doors for the first time. Their first Exhibition is a globally acclaimed showcase, featuring original and authenticated screen prints by the most controversial, interesting and talked-about artist in modern history.

Banksy is an England-based street artist, political activist and film director. His real name is unknown but his artwork has always been subject to worldwide interest as he responds to what world issues and politics is going on in the moment through his street art.

Over the decades his street art has a way of capturing the hearts and minds of generations of people overwhelmed and confused about the endless barrage of negative media. Unlike most elitist art which adorns the galleries around the world, Banksy, through his street art has brought his message to the masses. He is easily the most successful street artist in history.
